Knight’s Walk Post #3
Ok the last post did not look exactly the way I wanted it to, but it looked ok. at least I have the light box working and that looks cool. I still have to tweak the size of the final image. I guess it depends on the resolution of who is viewing the site. I wanted to make them big enough to see all the detail, but still fit within the screen. Also, I wanted each image to open from the post into the light box not have to go to a seperate page for each image and then go into the lightbox. Which is happening now, but I do not see the description anywhere. So you just see the caption, but not the other details I wrote about each image. I guess I just need to look at my tags and see what I am leaving out…Here is another set of images. Let me know what you think.
As you can see, sometimes the road take a toll on your feet. I am not going to say whose foot this is, but he knows who he is.
My son ran out to meet us when we started walking in the field. It was nice to have your family waiting for you at the end of this journey.
I just got off the phone with Robert and they are almost to Falfurrias. That is the second stop. They said it has been hot and windy this trip. I told him, so what’s different than all the other years…
I remember one year, the field we were walking thru was flooded. I do not think it was this picture, but it was all muddy, but no one cared. We just kept walking. I do not even want to know where the water came from.
Well in Texas this is the breakfast of champions. We don’t eat no damn wheaties or bagels Yall!
Walking along a major highway can be dangerous, but thank God we have not had any problems. Well at least not since I have been walking. This lady did stop and gave a donation once…
I took a group shot of them and then they started walking away. I guess George, the muscle man, was posing for me, but I did not catch it. Oops!
My place is between Poteet and San Antonio, but on the other side of Poteet is Pleasanton and Jourdanton. That was where the closest Walmart was. We do not walk by my place, that is on a parallel highway to the west of the highway we follow.
