I started this post this morning when I took this pic, but after I tried to save it, it just vanished!
Second try. I was trying to just take a pic of the rainy street below my office building. My iPhone focused on the window and some sparse rain drops. This pic actually captures the mood I was going for better than my original idea.
I guess it is better to be lucky than good!
While I was looking for this draft, I found some old post that were stuck in the draft version. I just published them anyway, but they seem like incomplete thoughts.

What was there? Some crudy old building. Actually it would made a cool hideout for me when I became a superhero. It had big overhead doors and some lofts. A bunch of stuff on the roof wth wires and pipes. It was also right next to the river so I could have hid my ELFATKAR and snuck out on the ELFATBOAT up the Skulykil river.

Better for now!
It is a shame thought, becasue the new found void will soon be filled with several floors or parking garage and cubicle dwellers! Oh well. At least we can enjoy the view of the river for now.
Oh yeah I took this with my iphone and stitched it together with MS ICE. I tried downloading it today but I could not. I had it on my laptop. Great free, easy program from Microsoft.

This last weekend we took a little day trip to Jim Thorpe. I was not aware that it was actually named after the football player Jim Thorpe. I have some more pics I will probably post. I do not have much to say about these. It was a nice walk. The town was small and I saw some other photogs out there. It is very scenic.
We stopped at this place called Penn’s Peak on the way home. It had a great view. Sorry I will post that pic later. Goodnight! Remember to follow me on Twitter (www.twitter.com/ctmedina)and I am also on Facebook.

You have to wonder how Comcast can afford to build the tallest building in Philly. It is very impressive. At least I know where my money is going…

So I guess the title of this post means looking outward instead of looking in? So what am I looking at in this picture. Since we are renting this less than new house I figured I would exploit its rustic charm. Trust me this place has plenty of rustic charm. I do not want to sound snobbish, but if I owned this house, I would make some changes. Irrelevant, this blog is not about my house, it is about my pictures. I have been pretty busy at work and I have not had time to take any pictures. Yeah, I take my camera out and I snap a few quick shots. Freudian slip, I typed shits instead of shots in the previous sentence. I have this idea that I have been trying to work on, but I just have not been able to start. I do not want to say much, but it involves a coffee maker. Maybe it is just an excuse to drink some coffee. Either way, stay tuned and you will find out. I will be in Chicago in a few weeks, so I am going to try to make time while I am out there to just spend an afternoon with my Canon. Let’s see what happens…
After I started writing this, I opened the picture I took of my front door and thought about what I should do in photoshop. All I did was resize it and make the file smaller. I got to thinking about the door and I remembered something about my childhood.
I remembered when we had a door like this on our front door at my parent’s house. My parent’s house has had a few different front door in its life. I remember sitting inside of the door looking out thru the small squares. This door has the same screen as that door did. I remember looking thru the squares and depending how close I was the world look wierd on the other end. I have a few different memories of me sitting inside the front door looking out. Lying there feeling the warm sun hit my face as I did pretty much nothing other than watch the world go by.
I miss that…

The corp office for Allied had just moved into our new building in Conshy. Everyone was excited to see all the new stuff and new technology. Then just a few days after moving, there was a huge fire just several hundred yards away from the building. Maybe it was a little farther than that, but I was on top of the parking garage for our building and I could feel the heat from the fire. I took some pics of the fire. That is all I really got to say. I just feel sad for the people who lost their homes and their pets. There are almost 400 people that now have no place to live.
